Publishing house of the Sokhumi University issues monthly newspaper “Sokhumi University”. At first, the newspaper was issued in March of 1995, under the name of “Sokhumis Sadrosho”.

Newspaper describes ongoing processes of the University, students’ studying and scientific activities. Besides, there is lot of information about the ongoing processes both in Georgia and beyond its borders.  Dealing with each issue newspaper follows the principles of Free Media and the code of journalistic ethics.    

Besides the newspaper, activity of the publishing house includes issuing the different scientific publications, materials of scientific conferences etc.
