On January 16, 2009, elections of the Academic Council of the Sokhumi State University were held. As per the Order # 04/01-316 (16.12.2008) and # 04/01-317 (31.12.2008) of the Acting Rector of the University total number of elected members is 10. Each of five faculties of the University elected two members
