Applications for Lithuanian State Scholarships are Now Open
Applications for Lithuanian State Scholarships for full-time Master's degree studies for the 2026-2027 academic year, provided by the Education Exchanges Support Foundation, are now being accepted (see here).
We advise graduate students (or Master’s students) of our bilateral partners to apply for a Master's degree at Mykolas Romeris University and, at the same time, apply for Lithuanian State Scholarships for full-time Master's degree studies. We especially recommend students of our joint or double degree Master's programs (if such agreements exist between MRU and the State University) to apply for the part of their studies that they will require at MRU.
The deadline for submitting
applications is April 20, 2026. Candidates from your university may consider
obtaining a Master’s degree from Mykolas Romeris University.
No more than 10 grants will be issued to citizens of the above-mentioned countries, except for citizens of Ukraine and foreign citizens of Lithuanian origin.
The monthly scholarship is
determined by 8 Basic Social Amounts (BSA)*, which equals €592 in 2026. The
tuition fee coverage grant is limited to the national standard tuition cost
approved by the Ministry of Education, Science, and Sport and cannot exceed
this amount.
(1) The MRU application form
for the chosen Master's program and, if they wish to receive financial support
for Master's studies, also (2) an application for a scholarship for full-time
Master's studies with all necessary documents through the online funding
application system.
