On December 20-21, the summarizing workshop of the
"Peace Education Research Center" of Sokhumi State University was
held in Kachreti "Ambasadori". The theme of the meeting was " Conflict
in Abkhazia and Peace Initiatives".
The meeting was attended by: Rector of Sokhumi State
University Zurab Khonelidze, Head of University Administration Nino Tophuridze,
Speaker of the Representative Council Larisa Takalandze, Head of the Center Tengiz
Pkhaladze, heads of the center directions, staff and invited guests.
The speeches were delivered by: Joni Marghania, Levan
Geradze, Zurab Khonelidze and etc.
Finally, Tengiz Pkhaladze, the Head of the Peace Education
Research Center, has summed up the meeting and focused on the future plans and
initiatives of the Center.
