On December 25, 2025 the Second International Scientific and Methodological Conference, under the title “Natural Sciences, Health, and Sport,” was held at Sokhumi State University organized by the National Academy of Sciences of Abkhazia.

On December 25, 2025 the Second International Scientific and Methodological Conference, under the title “Natural Sciences, Health, and Sport,” was held at Sokhumi State University organized by the National Academy of Sciences of Abkhazia.

The conference was jointly convened by Sokhumi State University and the National Academy of Sciences of Abkhazia, bringing together scholars for the Second International Scientific and Methodological Conference on “Natural Sciences, Health, and Sport.”

Participants presented research on a wide range of topics, including the application of artificial intelligence in sports, contemporary geographic theories, natural and human-induced processes affecting the Black Sea coastline, as well as current studies in biology and health-related sciences.

The event took place at the Faculty of Natural Sciences, Mathematics, Technologies, and Pharmacy of Sokhumi State University.

Academics from Georgia and nine other countries—Germany, Ukraine, India, Italy, Greece, Canada, the United Kingdom, Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyzstan—took part in the conference. A total of 52 research papers were presented, 14 of them authored by international scholars. The submitted scientific works are scheduled for publication in the near future with financial support from Sokhumi State University.

The conference was conducted in a hybrid format on December 22–23.
