From October 10 to 12, 2025, the
international exhibition “Health, Education, and Sports in the Revival Era of a
Strong State” took place in Ashgabat, the capital of Turkmenistan.
Over the three days, the exhibition
served as a vibrant platform for sharing experiences and presenting the latest
achievements in the development of human capital.
Now an established annual tradition,
the event was organized with the support of the Ministry of Health and Medical
Industry of Turkmenistan, the Ministry of Education, the State Committee for
Physical Culture and Sports, and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Mrs. Tea Jugeli, Rector of Sokhumi
State University, participated in the exhibition. During her visit, a
Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between Sokhumi State University and the
Yagshygeldi Kakayev International University of Oil and Gas.
Mrs. Jugeli took part in various
activities, met with members of international delegations, engaged with
representatives and rectors of Turkmen higher education institutions, addressed
the audience at the international conference, and delivered a lecture to
students.
The visit proved to be dynamic and
fruitful, enhancing the university’s efforts to expand its network of
international partners and to strengthen academic collaboration at both
regional and global levels.

Ambassador D. Seitmamedov for their valuable support in facilitating the visit.
