“Horizon Europe” Information Day Held at Sokhumi State University, Organized by the Grant Office
An Information Day on Horizon Europe was held on December 10 at Sokhumi State University, organized by the University’s Grant Office. The event aimed to introduce Georgian researchers to opportunities for participation in international calls available within the framework of the European Union’s research and innovation program, Horizon Europe. The National Contact Point for the Widening and ERA strand, Professor Nino Rodonaia, delivered a detailed presentation on the topic “Opportunities for the Participation of Georgian Scientists in International Calls for 2026.”
Professor Nino Rodonaia provided an in-depth overview of the priority areas of the 2026 calls, application submission procedures, key eligibility and participation criteria, as well as support and advisory mechanisms that facilitate the active integration of Georgian researchers into the European Research Area and their engagement in international scientific cooperation platforms. The Grant Office of Sokhumi State University will continue to organize similar informational meetings in the future, opening new pathways for the University’s researchers toward expanded international cooperation opportunities.
