Piloting
of Modules and Online Courses Developed Within the Erasmus+ Project Held at
Sokhumi State University
On May 14, 2026, the piloting of modules
and online certificate courses developed within the framework of the Erasmus+
project was held with students from the Faculty of Humanities at Sokhumi State
University.
During the event, two
modules—"Critical and Creative Thinking" and "Digital Media
Literacy"—were piloted, alongside two online courses: "Effective
Business Communication and Negotiation Skills" and "Understanding and
Developing Organizational Culture."
The piloting session was attended by
representatives from partner European universities: Leonid Chechurin from LUT
University (Lappeenranta-Lahti University of Technology), Finland, and Gerard
Patrick Cullen from the Technical University of Dresden, Germany.
The piloting was conducted successfully.
These modules and online courses were developed by Vika Kardava, Ia Murghulia,
Maia Aghaia, Sofia Gamakharia, and Keti Kavtaradze.
It is noteworthy that since 2024, Sokhumi
State University has been implementing the Erasmus+ project: "Developing
Soft Skills in Higher Education Institutions of Armenia and Georgia Based on
21st Century Labor Market Demands." The project coordinator is Professor
Indira Dzagania.
The project entails the development and
implementation of five soft skills modules and five online certificate courses.
