Documentary Film Dedicated to Ivane Javakhishvili Screened at Sokhumi State University

 Sokhumi State University recently hosted a screening of a documentary film dedicated to the life and legacy of Ivane Javakhishvili. SSU Vice-Rector Romeo Galdava attended the event, greeting the student audience and emphasizing Javakhishvili's outstanding contribution to Georgian education, scientific research, and the establishment of the country's first university.

The documentary was co-produced through a collaborative effort between the Ministry of Culture of Georgia, Imedi TV, and Tbilisi State University. The film once again highlighted the significant role of the founder of Tbilisi State University, the great Georgian scientist and public figure Ivane Javakhishvili in the history of Georgia and the advancement of Georgian science.
