Sokhumi State University has received an Award from EACEA

In June 2026, Sokhumi State University and Jean Monnet Module "Georgian Peace Paradigm and EU Peacebuilding"  project Manager, Professor Larisa Takalandze received an award from EACEA.  The accompanying letter states that  The purpose of plaque is twofold. It serves primarily as a label signifying quality in European Integration studies and represents the achievements of yours Jean Monnet Modules in this field. At the same times it also provides visibility for the Jean Monnet Action, presenting it as the focal point within and outside your institutions for the promotion of European Issues.”

It should also be noted that Sokhumi State University has already developed substantial experience in cooperation with the Jean Monnet Activities - the University successfully implemented the Jean Monnet Module „Corporate Social Responsibility in the European Union: Experience for Georgia"  (2022-2025)  (see “Opening of the Jean Monnet Auditorium”  https://shorturl.at/dS6M5).

EACEA congratulates Sokhumi State University and wishes it continued success in this field.
