Sokhumi State University welcomes you to the Scientific
Conference «European Union's Policy on Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)» which
will be held in Tbilisi (Georgia) on May 16-17, 2024 in the framework of the European
Union’s Jean Monnet Module (101083295-CSREU-ERASMUS-JMO-2022-HEI-TCH-RSCH) funded
by the European Commission (Erasmus+ Program). The Scientific
Conference is dedicated to the
91st anniversary of the University.
The scientific
conference comprises academic staff, postgraduate/doctoral students,
and researchers from SSU and other Georgian HEIs interested in
CSR and European integration issues, in general. The scientific conference will facilitate the
exchange of experience among the researchers in this field,
initiate new research, and implement them in Georgian companies; The Conference
will provide academic staff and postgraduate/doctoral students with an
opportunity to prepare scientific publications and participate in the
scientific conference. The conference is open to the public, experts, representatives of entrepreneurship, young
businessmen, managers, and civil society.
The topics of
discussion include the following: Integration of
Georgia with the EU: Expected Outcomes. EU for Georgia; CSR in the EU:
Definitions, Milestones, Theories; Public Policies on CSR in EU; The Role of
Government in CSR; Transnational Corporations as a Subjects of CSR; CSR in
Small and Medium-sized Enterprises; Evaluating Ethics; CSR under
COVID-19 Corona Virus Pandemic; Policy Measures in
Response to the COVID-19 Pandemic. Abstracts from conference papers will be
published in electronic form after the
scientific conference and will be placed on the website of Sokhumi State University.
The
working languages of the Conference are Georgian and English.
The conference will be organized in
a hybrid way.
Participation in
the Scientific Conference “European
Union's Policy on Corporate Social Responsibility” is free of
charge. Conference participants will be sent an electronic certificate via
e-mail.
