The
Ambassador of Latvia, Mrs. Ingrida Levrence, visited Sokhumi State University
on September 3, 2020. The university's rector, Professor Zurab Khonelidze,
hosted the ambassador and discussed various topics including the current state
of the university, challenges related to the start of the academic year, and
potential solutions depending on the country's situation. The rector also
presented new international partnership projects with leading European
universities that Sokhumi State University is actively participating in.
The
Ambassador Ingrida Levrence expressed her support and admiration for Sokhumi
State University as a friend, and assured the rector of her assistance in
implementing all projects in the new academic year.
