In the Sokhumi State University, since
2015, a scientific-practical conference dedicated to the dissemination of
international educational projects has traditionally been held, which,
depending on the involvement of the universities, has a national or
international character. On July 26-28, 2023, a national scientific-practical conference was
held, which was held in a mixed mode - one day face-to-face, the other day
online. Georgian
universities and general educational institutions were involved in the work of
the conference. Several sections worked according to the
presented reports: at the plenary session, problematic issues in the academic
space were presented, such as the challenges of Erasmus+ institutional
cooperation projects, scientific integrity and education, international
educational projects as mechanisms promoting the development of quality in
universities, a view on strengthening the university's involvement in
innovative ecosystems, digital learning Advantages of teaching with tools (according to DITECH
project) and
more.
At the
conference, a separate section worked on the implementation of EU and US
educational projects in universities and their dissemination in the educational
space.
During two
days, in this section, more than 10 reports were read by of the Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State
University, Akaki Tsereteli State University, Samtskhe-Javakheti State
University, Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University, Sokhumi State University,
Theological Academy of Georgia, Gori State University, State University of
Physical Education and Sports by representatives. Representatives
of various universities involved in Erasmus+, USAID, Unisef and other projects
were actively involved in the work of the conference, who presented interesting
reports on the progress and dissemination of the international projects.
During two
days, a separate section worked in the direction of educational sciences:
pedagogy, inclusive education and teaching methods, where current issues of
educational sciences were discussed.

reports at the conference will be published in the collection of scientific
works of Sokhumi
