On December 27-28, 2022, at Sukhumi State
University, the SSU team (Lia Akhaladze, Tamar Shinjiashvili, Nino Tsulaia,
Levan Kvaratskhelia) of the European Union Erasmus+ project DITECH (Technology-Enhanced
Teaching and Learning in Georgian Universities) conducted trainings on the
topic: Use of Educational Technologies and Platforms in the Teaching and
Learning Process - Camtasia, Snagit, h5p, Miro, Infographic, Canva.
Necessary
requirements for inclusion in the trainings were: the ability to navigate the
computer and the desire to introduce educational technologies in the teaching
courses. The staff of all five faculties of SSU participated in the trainings.
The majority expressed a wish - based on one specific platform, each
participant will create educational resources, which would be monitored by
project trainers.
On the same
topic, the second stage of trainings and individual meetings with the academic
staff are planned, after which relevant certificates will be issued.
