Within
the framework of the Erasmus+ program, Professors Vepkhvia Gvaramia and Edisher
Phutkaradze from Sokhumi State University’s Faculty of Law and Diplomacy
visited the Faculty of Law at the University of Ljubljana, where they delivered
a series of lectures for law students.
Professor
Vepkhvia Gvaramia addressed contemporary issues in international criminal law,
while Professor Edisher Phutkaradze focused on current challenges in
substantive criminal law.
The
sessions were held in a dynamic and interactive environment, drawing strong
interest from both students and the academic staff of the University of
Ljubljana.
This
was the second visit by Professors Gvaramia and Phutkaradze to the University
of Ljubljana to deliver lectures, serving as a clear example of the growing
partnership between the two universities. The visit took place from October 5
to 12, 2025.
