On July 17, 2026, in Jurmala (Latvia) 12th International Scientific Symposium “Economics, Business & Finance” and the 9th International Multidisciplinary Academic Conference was held. Professor Larisa Takalandze from Sokhumi State University and the manager of the project Jean Monnet Module “Georgian Peace Paradigm and European Union Peacebuilding” (EUPEACE) took part in the Conference (online) (see Program, p.10).
Professor Larisa Takalandze delivered a presentation entitled “The Role of Sokhumi State University in Peacebuilding (on the Example of the Jean Monnet Module EUPEACE)”. The presentation emphasized the role of Higher Education in Peacebuilding, the role of Jean Monnet Module EUPEACE and such projects in enhancing the quality of Education and strengthening academic cooperation, and raising public awareness of Conflicts and Peace Processes in Georgia, European Union Peacebuilding, European integration as a Peacebuilding project, EU Conflict Mediation in Georgia and etc.
